Social media personality Yhemo Lee has expressed concern over the worsening security situation in Nigeria, especially the increasing cases of kidnappings involving both adults and children.

In an emotional statement shared online, Yhemo Lee criticised authorities over what he described as a failure to effectively tackle insecurity and abductions across the country.

According to him, the situation has deteriorated to a disturbing level where even children are now targets of violent attacks and kidnappings.

“Omo wetin dey really burst my head na say this government isn’t doing nothing about this kidnappings,” he wrote.

The influencer questioned how criminal groups continue operating despite government security structures, expressing fears over the safety of ordinary Nigerians.

“Children nko? Like babies are being beaten to stupor. Are kidnappers more powerful than the government?” he added.

Referencing recent reports of attacks and abductions in Oyo State and other parts of the South-West, Yhemo Lee lamented that insecurity appears to be spreading closer to major cities.

“They don comot for north now enter Ibadan? Ibadan for backyard here? When dem no go enter Lagos,” he stated.

He also criticised political supporters who ignore growing insecurity despite campaigning for leaders currently in power.

“Una wey dey advocate and campaign for these people make una dey fear God oh,” he added.

His comments come amid nationwide outrage over recent school attacks, kidnappings and killings involving teachers, students and residents in several states across Nigeria.

The statement has generated reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing concerns about insecurity and the safety of children following recent incidents in Oyo State and other parts of the country.
