Share f X W in

Businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has announced the death of his wife.

Fayose, who is the younger brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose, shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post on Saturday.

In the post, he uploaded a candlelight image alongside a short tribute that read: “Rest In Peace, My darling wife.”

He later shared additional photos of his late wife while bidding her farewell in another emotional message.

The tragic development comes months after Fayose publicly revealed that his wife had been battling cancer.

During an earlier visit to his family in Australia, the businessman emotionally spoke about her deteriorating health condition.

According to him, his wife had become too weak to carry out daily activities, forcing him to personally care for her during the difficult period.

“My wife is not feeling well. When I got here, she was very weak. The same woman who usually picks me up at the airport couldn’t come, so I had to take an Uber,” he had said.

He also recalled sitting beside her and singing her favourite song while holding her hand during her illness.

Following the announcement of her death, several fans, celebrities, and colleagues flooded social media with condolence messages.

Among those who reacted were actress Yvonne Jegede, comedian Ali Baba, and veteran musician Daddy Showkey.

The news has continued to generate emotional reactions online as supporters sympathise with Fayose and his family over the loss.
